this is lovely
You know a mermaid named Ulla? And you know her birthday? That is so cool! She can cavort in your bathtub or swimming pool when she visits. Otherwise, loverly colors, contrasts, silhouetting, lighting effects, subject matter, et al, in this marvelous dedication, Helle.
This really is fantastic made for Ulla, it has a lot of beauty to discover in it, and the light is just perfect. And, WOW what great colors too, Helle!
a beautiful dedi for Ulla...your ability to blend and combine continues to be easeful (regardless of whatever effort it takes, it appears totally natural), as these branches and cones and buds blend so nicely against that intense sunset/sunrise sky, and the birds and the silhouetted trees and the clouds. It all makes a single vision, even though so many elements are in it. And it has an overall red-gold-yellow feel to it. The black ground is a perfect ground for the pic. And you used a reddish-orange border (with that light blue in between)---another nicely coordinated border. More beautiful dedi work from you, Helle. And happy birthday Ulla! (if she comes by, she'll have a beautiful piece in her honor!)
oh Helle, this is just wonderful and a great combination of colors and forms, I know I am one year late. but I am anjoying it nevertheless as a wonderful dedi :)
