Description
Today was a beautiful day, cool with very light breezes, so I took the Phantom out for a flight.
This was along the Little Blue Trace Trail, a miles-long trail that follows the Little Blue River through Jackson County, Missouri. I hiked about a mile to where this old railway bridge crosses the Little Blue. If you look closely, you can see me in the shadow of the trees near the lower right of the photo.
I'll be doing some editing, and hope to have a video of this flight posted to YouTube soon.
Another weekend down the drain..... :-P

Oh my! Anyone who doesn't click on full view for this one is cheating themselves. That's a gorgeous shot, birds-eye view. I love the verdant trees, and the missing railroad ties.

Exciting to have this new pov in your photographic arsenal. I admit to being jealous. Funny in a way, how 3D programs have inverted the real for the virtual and vice versa. My first thought when seeing this image was, I didn't realize Rod knew Vue!
LOL - I've got Vue 10, but haven't advanced to the stage of putting something like this together. Still trying to learn my way around it...

What a worthy use of the Phantom! This is way cool. I like the perspective, and the fact that you can get shots of this bridge that could never be even hinted at with shots from the ground. Fab-oo!
