Description
I've always thought that the Greek gods went overboard in handing out punishments; but their rewards weren't much better. Wonder if Daphne's stent as a tree was forever or just until Apollo lost interest!
Thanks for viewing!

Marvelous creation !
Very good creation, fantastic background !!
Beautifully done !
Wonderful work,so beautifully done**********
An absolute delight!!
this is lovely...but I really like the close up thumb and bringing her in closer shows off the excellent light skill you show in this work.
She is amazing !!!!
I would hope that it was only until Apollo lost interest in her, however, being a God, that could be a very long time. Regardless, she is a very lovely Nymph and it is no wonder that he became enthralled with her. :)
Gorgeous fantasy scene, superb work my friend.
Superb portrait of Daphne. Unfortunately, she stays a tree forever, because "daphne" is the greek name for "laurel". And it's after tranformation of the nymph that Apollo decided that laurel become his favourite plant; and the first branches of laurel, he has taken on the new tree...
Fabulous work!!!
