Description
Made with Apophysis.
Hi dear Friends,
It's a bit of a busy fractal this time.
But it reminded me of a kaleidoscope, which I had as a child.
And I found it so beautiful, to always see the new colours and patterns appear.
It was a constant surprise, and it fascinated me tremendously.
(btw I don't know if it is good English, to write: "I found it so beautiful",
it sounds not good to me, using the verb 'found' this way.)
Anyway, thank you a lot for being present here, as for your look.

Wow Mies, you really went all out on this very lovely creation.
'Found' is perfectly correct Jacomina and I have found this to be of my liking too.
Splendid Apophysis work....I think every kid probably had a kaleidoscope at some point in their childhood, I remember tearing my first one apart to see how it worked, did that to everything just had to know how everything worked, probably why I became an Engineer later in life Peace (btw I don't know if it is good English, to write: "I found it so beautiful", it sounds not good to me, using the verb 'found' this way.) That's the way I'd say it, of course I don't speak English....I speak American and not all that well most of the time
Perfect English, Mies! Unlike my nonexistent Dutch. One of my Chinese lodgers gave a kaleidoscope for Christmas last year!
jolie!
I find it to be quite beautiful, as well, dear Jacomina! I'm always so pleased to see a bot from you for a fractal ... your work is always gorgeous!
wonderful
this is cool
Very cool and beautiful work Mies
Lovely work, and thanks for the memory, I had one too, and I remember I was amazed by the beauty of the figures inside when I used it for the first time.
all is splendid here, tons, colors, designs ! an outstanding remembrance ! Thanks for this beauty !!!
Beautiful, Mies, with gorgeous colors. LOL@Len! :-D
I love kaleidoscopes! I love the way the patterns flow one into another. This reminds me of a kaleidoscope too. It looks like it is merging from one pattern to another. The circular shapes give it both movement and a sense of looking down a tube. I love the colors and textures. While there is a lot going on, it doesn't really look busy to me. The wonderful variation between deep colors and light, and between dusty colors and splashes of vibrant reds, highlight larger patterns and along with the textures, make it sumptuous rather than busy. I like the hole in the center which seems to look through into the distance, and the 3D look of layers throughout. I like the mirrored patterns on either side of the hole, one in light pink on blue and the other light pink on dark pink. They are fun shapes which made me think of Dr Seuss. The dark green made me think of a canopy in a jungle. Beautiful image! Rich, vibrant, and fascinating!
OH WOW! Jacomina. I find it very beautiful too. I use this way of speaking all the time, so am glad to read, it is ok to use it... :-P
