Description
The Illustrated Man.
Captured 8/20/2011, mid day, at a nearby auto show.
I had forgotten about this gem, languishing in my files. Tattoos, cigarette, ample tummy, facial hair, etc. The best of his social class. The main reason I occasionally review my old photos is to come up with cool ones like this. Ergo, when I attend an auto show, it isn't just for taking pics of the vehicles.
ZOOM for a closer look of the tattoos.
Adios, amigos.

I have seen more overweight men and women in your photos recently! This one is absolutely splendid!
Oh my, I wonder if they charge by the inch for tattoos? If so he's probably paid for his tattooist's home by now. I don't understand why so many people are covered with ink these days, but it's their bodies, so they can do what they like. Fascinating human interest photo, Harry; you do see a lot of different folk when you're out and about; excellent work!
a fine specimen of construction worker Construction or road-going!!! excellent shot !
cool candid shot
His tattoos have tattoos:) Your photo positively pulses with human interest. Great shootin' Harry.
All that and he's connected! (His ear piece.)
Fantastic shot.
Great capture! The human side of events is as interesting as the event itself, and sometimes even more. I like everything that involves this portrait.
With Bill, you get a lot of human interest in these shots. With Andrea, splendid. The tattoo guy is composed between the big guy on the right and the wall on the left---with another form of opulent decoration. I read the guy's arm and it says, East Los Angeles (and some other things I can't make out). A big bold shot, in no small part because the biggest thing about it is from the SIDE---they guy's clearly looking at something else, but his arm is left "behind" so you can capture it like capturing a big salami. (Don't tell him I said that!) And we see his big head, and all that human real estate. The middle guy is fine counterpoint---in hue and stance. And I like the "Wow Bones" on top---I have no clue what that means, lol, but it makes for fine street photography. The juxtapositions of the urban street. Wonderful shot, Harry.
THis dude has way more Tattoo's than me! Thinking of inflicting another on myself actually lol I'll see if I live that long lol Good shot mate! Rob
