Now, that is really cool! You got a great angle on this, Tara! I tried to do something similar at the Crazy Horse memorial in S. Dakota last fall, but the photo wasn't all that great.... :-P

I took one like this, but I like yours better. Beautifully composed and wonderful POV. I like the leaves, one green, looking like an overturned canoe, and the other brown, heading into the shadows. The people in the back make me think of wall paintings, and to the left of them is a shape near a door, which I first took for a person with very thin legs leaning forward to examine the wood. Then I realized that such a person would have to be a giant and I don't remember seeing any about. Beautiful shot!
Somehow I missed this one when you first posted it. I really like this conceptually & I also love the strong DOF effect - the model is in perfect focus & the building itself, though blurred, has just enough definition to enable us to make it visually appealing. Though it doesn't in any way detract from your photo (maybe it even enhances it), the model itself seems pretty crude - it doesn't seem very accurate in it's proportions at all...
