This is also a pastel painting on velour paper. Had my troubles with it but I decided to post it anyway. The source photo is from Denises Gallery HERE Thank you again Denise for lettimg me use your photos. My pastel didnt give your lovely shot credit, as I made the flowers too small. Sorry.
Have a beautiful new week
Weather is cool and grey, but not so windy.

You never fail to amaze me with the beauty you portray in your pictures Helle.
Again one of your beautiful paintings. You're doing so well. Always a pleasure to look at.
So good you posted it, Helle, it is extremely attractive! I'm still not tempted to try soft pastels...I am too messy.
lovely
Wow Helle, this is one of the most lovely paintings I've seen in some time. The soft detailing here is simply superb.
You have so much more control than I ever did with this medium; I think you did a fantastic job!
What a sweet and beautiful view. And just lovely to find in the midst of a grey day. :)
This is beautiful! They're not too small ... you just used paper that was too big. If you don't like the scale, cut the paper down! LOL! :)
Wow! Wonderful picture! I always love your paintings!
Amazing work Helle. God bless.
Excellent done!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for posting this. It is a very nice pastel. You do tempt me to try them sometime.
Splendid pastel Helle ,with excellent lighting! Congratulations!
Oh, this is sooooo lovely made, my friend! I love the softness, and also the background is so perfect and fitting to it. The whole has a very lively spring mood. I never have seen that velour paper, but it was long ago I visited a art-shop. I guess this paper works very fine for any kind of pencils and crayons on it.
This is very beautiful!
