Description
We had two very large trees at the end of our garden between my nephew and our property. We call them Troll Willow, because the branches were twisting a bit like a witch hazel, but now they got too big, so they are now cut down, as you see.
Have a beautiful Weekend.
We got the sunshine back yayyy ! We have pretty much wind though. And it is a bit warmer. Family should arrive here soon.

Interesting!
Well, there is your winter firewood. :) Too bad about the twisty old tree though.
Superb captures and collage Helle. God bless.
Three nice pictures to log on to Helle.
This is a very nice collage for sure, Helle. Those trees must have been very large indeed to produce this amount of wood.
Fine pictures, as much as we all love tree's and hate to see them being cut down, (sound of the chainsaw induces a hate in me) there are times when there is no option and it must be done for one of a number of reasons. Did you have to cut them down to ground level?.
great collage and sometimes they have to be cut down..
Lots of warm fires.
It has become firewood for the fireplace! Great images! :)
Wow! Lots of great firewood!
guess you got firewood now
I like the piles of graduated sizes. So organized ... it does my heart good! :)
A chain saw makes quick work of the old trees...will you miss the shade this summer?
Thanks Bill. No it is too far away from our house to give any shadow on us, but we will miss the shade from the old bird feeding tree. The new is nothing but a stick :(
cool
Very great captures !
Aww, sad to see it go; but your lovely piles of firewood are so beautifully arranged!
