Description
This photo was taken several years ago at Totem Bight State Park in Ketchikan Alaska. To get to the Park we used the city bus rather than go on an excursion. I'm really happy we did that because several tours came and went while we were there and I don't think any of the tours stayed long than 20 minutes. I’m sure they saw other great sights but I was glad have more time to spend with the Totems :)

Wonderful capture! Though I have to admit to some confusion when reading the title on the ebot (it left off the park) so I was thinking that you were showing us a photo of fireweed with some disease that was unique.....

A beautiful capture and lovely colors. A wonderful zoom too! A great idea to use the city bus - we were on one of those tours that stopped for what seemed lik ten minutes and couldn't get a photo without a croud of people in the shot.
