Description

I'm afraid Christmas Monkey has taken a turn for the worse. Special Notes: (for those that follow my short stories in writers gallery) Just a few notes I wanted to put out. Yesterday's story was littered with clues about a major change I have made from the draft. (reimagined for the story). The changes don't effect the current story, but does effect the draft version you read months ago. After much look at the Character Arcs, plot development, relationships, and as yet introduced characters. The story just didn't fit together right with the early draft from months ago. So, one major character in the future story has had his backstory and relationships changed slightly. The change doesn't effect his basic storyline, but yea, there it is. The clues were all there in yesterdays story and will strengthen the over-all story when we get around to that character. There is one other character change I'm considering. I am considering pulling Rein backward in time to Colt's time. I want a parallel story of The Raven's training camp and Rein might be the protagonist I choose. Unless something falls on my head, But right now Rein is the prime candidate to get pulled back to become the protagonist in his own story, but the antagonist in Colt's upcoming story. Thanks for reading.

It's always a pleasure to follow your stories, no matter how much the ball might bounce. Christmas Monkey didn't really have a chance. :P

Somebody better get a needle and thread -- LOTS of thread -- for poor Christmas Monkey. Wonderful photo. You can chase the printer down the hall on his way to the press with the "final" edition trying to make rewrites as far as I'm concerned. Your writing is so engaging I enjoy the story in all versions.

Oh my, those lovely pearly whites have done a job on Christmas Monkey! I've been known to repair toys till they are no longer recognizable, patching and sewing and patching and sewing till there's more patches then original toy, LOL! Love this shot of your sweetie pie! as for the story .. no matter the changes, I'll just keep following where ever it leads!

All I can think of with that glaring eye is Jack the Ripper! Jingles got two stuffed toys on the 25th, they were completely destroyed by the 26th, and the little squeeky thing is always the first to go!
