Hi dear friends,
This is a portion of the courtyard of the Biesenhof.
It is not far from our house, in the same street.
As Miriam was here with her kids, this spring, she invited us to have a diner there.
The Biesenhof lies at the foot of the Sweikhuizerberg in the valley of the Yellow Brook, near Geleen.
The typical Limburg quadrangular farmhouse 750 years old has been fully restored
and features a restaurant, brasserie with winter and hostelry.

I love the patterns the snow makes on that tile roof. What a lovely scene! And a 750-year-old farmhouse! My word. I've just been visiting some old churches in Texas (Spanish missions) that were built less than 250 years ago, and I marveled at their great age and at how well they've held up over time. LOL!
