Thanks so much for your lovely lady Angelie, Lil' Sis! She's a real sweetie, and she couldn't wait to help decorate the tree! She just loves all the bright, colorful lights, and the joy of the season.
I had a lot of fun putting this together, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
I used Diyanera's Santa outfit, and changed a couple of the materials for this render. I can't remember where I got the Christmas tree - I'll have to do some research on that one! The lights Angelie is playing with are just Poser primitives (the ball-cone) resized and colored, with the ambient cranked up a bit (about 0.68000) in the Poser surface node to give them a bit of glow. The wire was painted in Photoshop. The scene outside is the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Mo. Photo by me.
I placed a point light just behind each ball-cone lightbulb, and set it to inverse square in the properties tab. Intensity is 3% - same for the candles. The packages are by apcgraficos in Rendo Freebies - thank you very much!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Holiday season however you celebrate it. Remember those who are less fortunate, and those who cannot be home with the ones they love.

Marvelous job! I know putting those lights at every bulb was not as easy as it sounds.
Excellent job with the lights! They were the first thing I noticed, simply because they were SO "just right." Good job painting the wire, too. This is terrific!

I'm just out for words, Big Bro! Just the way to bring out and spread the Christmas Spirit with such a beautiful composition. Even much better when zoomed in and saw all the extra FX you made. The glow from the tree lights as well as the candles in the background (reflecting through the wooden floor) is not easy to achieve unless you are a pro--- this is flawless and it doesn't stop there, even the outside lights are captured here. THE Master of Details--- that's you.
