SUPERB WORK
Beautiful. I wonder if it is the law that people must paint their house regularly....and WHITE! Or is it just the accepted custom and done automatically by the residents?
lovely
Skala looks like a beautiful place. What a great place to spend a few days doing nothing but wandering around!
Hot is relative. While I was on this trip Phoenix recorded an official temperature of 49 C one day, a near record. This last summer we had over 30 days with temperatures exceeding 45 C. So this temperature in the upper 30's was not too bad, for me anyway, especially when it cooled off at night, but it is pretty warm for Europe. I seemed to have seen somewhere, that the building code requires new construction follow certain guidelines, i.e. style and maybe color also. Keeping the houses looking shiny white is in the interest of tourism. A neat and clean looking place attracts more tourist, and tourism is a big business for these islands..
I love all those brilliantly white buildings. Wonderful picture.
Awesome shot of this area.

Look at the colour of that water! Incredible.. A lovely shot Sig mate. And, can I wish you a Happy New Year. Rob
