every thing so wet there. cool shot
You've captured the atmosphere perfectly. A super shot!
It's gorgeous, Harry; the fog wraps the boulevard in mystery and makes it so lovely. And those beautifully pruned trees look fascinating! Wonderful shot!
Ditto Dad !
I'm supposed to skip around (after a long absence) but I gotta do this whole series! Your angle on the walker is just right, because he's in the mists, but surrounded by enough light to stand out for us. A "film noir" figure, captured with space between his legs and arms, giving him character. And next to him, the headlights. Good timing! A spare road, with some mysterious travelers passing by...I like the frontmost branches---they're in fine detail compared to the rest, and they put it all into perspective. And those topiaries on the right---they look like big lamps! The fog has simplified them to their essential appearance. (I think of fog as nature's greatest Photoshop Filter.) Your light is so fine---like the others in this series---it's misty but with a presence all its own. And you got the water reflections on the sidewalk, which gives more mystery to the shot. I may have said this before, but in film, they often wet streets for night shots, to give the streets a glow. Here you got them with a beautiful patina of moisture, not too strong, not too light. It makes one want to jump into the piece. And the American flag piercing through the mix? Beautiful seeing. It's good that you're up so early, because you get head starts on weather like this, as I assume that, once the sun's been out awhile, it dissipates fog pretty quickly. Boy is this a sweet series...
ditto what Mark said LOL hard to follow that Nice shot Harry!!!
