The history of this car brand:
The Chenard and Walcker is a very sweet little car from about 1929. It feels like a romantic motorized carriage to marry. Chenard & Walcker was a French automobile maker in the period 1900 to 1946. Mr Chenard was in the last decade of the nineteenth century bicycle repair. Together with Mr. Walcker he founded the car dealership. Growth continued in the course of the years. The company was in the first half of the twentieth century, the fourth largest automobile company in France. The main achievement of the brand was winning the first 24-hour race at Le Mans in 1923.

Smashing photograph of a beautiful old stately motor car. It is good that these are preserved. Those were the days when the people who built them had special skills. The quality of materials was excellent too. Thankyou Mies:-) Shame I can't quite read the plaque on the wall.
