Today,
Morning Fog over the country.
Vapors rising above water.
Cobwebs in the grass
And I, .... who very early
outside was.
Diagonally across from our house,
a little farther into the country.

This is so beautiful, mijn lieve vriend! I love the light streaking across, lighting up the tree in the back, and then scattering in the mist. The way the lit tree shines like jewels against the still shadowed blue-green hillside beyond. There is a wonderful feeling of morning, of things beginning, soon to be shining and new in the morning light. Such superb atmosphere and beauty. I love the spiderwebs!
