Description
My first attempt at shooting the moon with my Panasonic FX200 camera, and I think I am pretty happy with the results, I put it on spot metering and shot at f/8 and a shutter speed of 1/125 I also had camera on a tripod and used the timer on the camera to reduce any camera shake.
The smaller picture on the bottom left is one that Michael did, and I wanted to thank him for that. And he also had asked if he could use my photo as a reference for an art project he is working on for NASA so I was so excited that he asked me, and good luck with the project Michael. Oh and a big thank you to Steve, eekdog for his help in making the link.
In search of a dream underneath
The Tennessee moon
I fell in love to an old Hank Williams tune
And I wonder,
Is it the same moon Hank stood under
When he sang about jambalaya
And bein' lonesome enough to cry?
Lyrics: Neil Diamond
Winter Moon
