Our museum has a huge exhibit of these little souls. That's the closest I've ever been to them!

Fantastic shot. I like this metallic coloured chafers.
What a beautiful shot, Andrea.
Just AMAZING! I would grow that flower all over my garden if it brought in beetles like this!
What a great shot, look at that iridescent glow.
beautiful colored bug.
What an amazingly lovely scene you've captured!
a metallic beauty
SUPERB WORK
Fabulous clarity and color in this image of what looks like a mechanical green bug, noshing, as you put it, upon that spiny bloom, Andrea. That is one weird insect.
If I looked that good sitting on a flower, I'd do it all the time, too! :P Great image!
An exquisite iridescent green on the Rose Chafer. A lovely two for one capture!
A wonderful image. A variation on the old story of the grasshopper and the ant. The honey bee works hard all day while the beetle has a leisurely meal and enjoys the day.
Wonderful shot and getting the bee in too is a bonus!
What a beauty I hope he's not a leaf muncher.
Great capture and close up all sorts of color in this image...and creatures too a beetle and a bee Hugs Susan
