very much a destroying critter
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
how can anything so annoying be made to look so beautiful, nice one Andrea
Excellent capture! Training for the Olympics looking at it. A shot of a condemned man I expect!
DANG!! Now you know why :-/// Superb shot anyway. :)
Salt salt salt Watch them fizz when you salt them :)
Flip, that is amazing!!
Yikes, well fed indeed! I think it's looking for flying lessons...
These little guys carry rat lung disease over here. Kids eat them or they are eaten as a joke at parties, and a worm thingy travels to their brain and kills them. The snail/slug gets it by eating rat poo.
Beautiful capture!
Good heavens, that has got to be some kind of voracious esoteric gastropod, sans spiral shell, in this beautifully focused and detailed image, A. Another garden nosher. You have a monopoly on all the insects in the world, including what could have been ours here in Southern California.
I just planted out three pots and added a couple things to two others, and will be interested to see what, if anything, is left in the morning! LOL!
A wonderful find and capture - did it survive after the photo was taken??? :>)
Very cool and interesting photo WADR, this one would not live long around our garden
Yeesh! The detail on this image is amazing. At least the caterpillar turns into a butterfly after its destructive rampage. Superb work.
haha, well.... now you know ! superb shot !!
Great shot and it looks like a big boot job.
Someone seems to be enjoying them!
Is That a snail i never knew they eat plants but then when i looked at blinkings comment that made me want to vomit how awful that humans would eat something like that yuk great shot girl.
really fascinating. At the good moment.
What a great capture excellent close up Hugs Susan
a stunning portrait of this creature, the clarity is beautiful; but the composition---with its body enveloping the flowers---is remarkable. The flowers appear to be growing out of its belly! I cannot, cannot, cannot do macro photography; in fact I've had insects literally walk-out of a shot because it was so bad. So when I see something like this, as if the creature posed for you after much discussion and set-ups, I get discouraged all the more. A beautiful, ultra clear capture, with a womb-of-a-center; and the creature's tilted-head is the perfect added touch.
