Description
"Figured I'd find you here."
Wulf was startled out of his cogitations by a familiar voice that always 'did things' to him. "Hello, Xara," he said without taking his eyes off his mark. His heart wasn't entirely an ice-cube, contrary to his partner's assurances otherwise. He had a soft spot for this one. Not only had she proven to be a valuable ally and informant, she was hot and she seemed to be very loyal to him for some reason he couldn't fathom.
"You busy?" Xara knew full well that he could look like he was doing nothing but was actually on a stakeout.
"Yup. What brings you looking for me?" He glanced over at her for a second, then returned his attention to his target, exhaling sharply as he did. "You look ravishing, as always."
She smirked. "You can come and ravish me any time you've got a few spare hours," she said with a naughty giggle. "One of my clients fell asleep on me. Not that I mind."
"Clearly an idiot," Wulf smiled. "And...?"
"He started muttering about something I thought might pique your interest. Alien artifacts."
Magic words that got Wulf's full attention. "When?"
"He said he was here for four days, so I'm assuming that's when they're coming in. He works for AAT Corporation...you know, the ones with the museum front and heavy black market connections? The ones who make clever imitations of their finds for the museum and sell the real thing on the side?" Xara stroked his cheek, smiling. She could see this information did indeed please him. "Why don't you come and see me when you're done? I can tell you a few more details then, in private."
"An offer I cannot refuse," he grinned. "It'll be late. You haven't said anything to anyone else, have you?"
"That's alright. I'm always up for you." Xara rolled her eyes. "You know you're always the one I come to when I have something juicy."
He watched her disappear into the crowd. Today seemed to be his lucky day - in more ways than one.

I forgot to mention on the last post, the background was from 1971's "Collection Number 5", as it is here. I also called Wulf's outfit "Midnight Cowboy" but it's "Midnight Hunter". Sorry about that! It was very early in the morning.

She is indeed hot! At first glance this looks innocent and romantic until you really understand their character persoalities. Definitely passion and maybe some romance if they didn't belong to their...jobs. Excellent render and as always, great characters with great depth to their personas.
