Description
...caught this Blue Jay on a limb just above the bird feeder...
...this guy was sitting in deep shade and when I added light there is a bit more digital noise than I like but I found the overall pose quite satisfactory.

Fabulous capture and great details!!!
You have turned the pic into a nice image Bill.
WOW it is really lovely and the pose is just perfect.
Great capture Bill
Very nice, blue jays are hard to get at least the ones I have encountered, nice work.
That's a really great capture of this blue jay, Bill! These guys aren't easy to photograph – they're skittish and fast. You caught this one perfectly!
fantastic
Noise shmoise. Looks good to me bud :)
That's not one from around here, is it? I've never seen any but Steller jays here...you did well for the shady locale. These guys must be a bit less skittish than the Steller's jays I've got in my garden...
He tried to hide from you, but didn't quite make it and that's a very good thing!!
Would have been interesting to see this done with the 5DMK3. I'm wondering what Fred255 meant about the proper photo site?
A very nice pose indeed, and I like the leafy surroundings. I didn't realize how much I've missed your bird pics until you started going through them again! VERY nice!
