Description
due to where I work and the time(s) that I get to work, it is not always possible to get the best spot to capture sunrises or sunsets so you take what you get. In this case, I think the wires and signs and the cars going by add to the event rather than subtract from it.
I hope you enjoy this picture. I haven't really felt all that great the last almost full week - been fighting a quick acting, hard-hitting cold that travelled from my sinuses down to my chest and laid me out. I will be going back to work tomorrow.
Take care and thanks for the comments and faves

Stunning capture my friend. God Bless.
A sunset/sunrise can look boring but as you say this image looks better not being a blank sky. Hope you feel better soon Mike.
It does add a certain sense of time and place to the sunrise that is unmistakeably 'rural', like a road-trip sunrise. Very nice capture, Mike! I do hope you are feeling fit again real soon hon!!
looks super Mike, incredible sky and shot.
Looks kinda like ours this morning. 'Cept no wires. ;) Pretty shot! ")
Superb capture, clarity and lighting. Hope you get over that cold soon.
Very beautiful sky Mike, excellent lighting and colors, loved it!
Oh, Mike this is just unbelievably gorgeous! I see what you mean about the grid of wires but still, such an intense array of colors here and the clouds look so perfect. Fabulous capture! I hope you're feeling better now, my friend~
cool shot
Beautiful capture Mike..pretty colors!!
You did very nice shot, great!
It's gorgeous; my eyes tend to seek out what I like and ignore what I don't, and the wires make a sort of gridwork frame for that lovely sky. What Burger King? I hope you feel better soon!
Soo romantic.... (by Burger King...no no) SUPREME shot!!
this is lovely. get well
But it may be a great day . Great color Thanks to share your beauties ((5++))
Outstanding photo Mike.
A really beautiful sky, and I get what you mean about the setting, makes for a very interesting photo. Sorry to read you have not been well, I hope that by tomorrow you feel much better and ready to face the work day ahead of you. Take care, hugs Jane xx
SUPERLATIVE IMAGE!
This is a great looking capture Mike! Hope you are feeling better. I know this bug had me home from work all last week. It hits hard and seems to still linger.
Most excellent capture!
I think you did a great job of capturing the sunrise Mike, and the wires provide a cool contrast
to me, why all the wires and streets spe works is because it all serves to accentuate the immensity and grandeur of the sky and the breathtaking sunrise. A stunning capture Mike, and a marvelous composition.
Cool capture, I think you got it wired!
Man's signature on Mother Nature's handiwork once again... still it does indeed have a certain appeal in the picture. Cool shot Mike, Beauty
Im so glad here they all put the wire under the side walk :)
beautiful sky never the less. I pass up many skies because of the same reason. I hope you are able to knock the cold. I have been fighting sinuses
In this case, I agree, Mike! The wires do ad a bit of depth to this photo! A most excellent capture!
It really is a beautiful sunset, Mike! And I think the wires and signs do add to the photo - they give it a sense of place and time. Well seen and photographed my friend! I know you've been down with the creeping crud for several days, and I hope you're feeling better!
Wow, Mike...this is not seen very often up this way in January. Glad you took this. Proof positive that we do get beautiful sunrises!
great capture
