Pic taken at early morning
Super photograph! I happen to love bridges and this is a perfect example of one. I love the lines, the graceful shape of the bridge, and the mood of this photo. Wonderful details everywhere, especially in the shadowy people going about their business. Because they're not the main focus and are mostly in shadow, it seems as if they are quite mysterious, and that's never a bad thing in a photo. A little mystery goes a long way! This is great.
Great picture, Raza! Very interesting bridge. Those structures adjacent to the main columns, are those pathways for people to walk about? They look like and it, very interesting structure. Thank you for sharing!
Those are just the support beams
What a fantastic shot... great atmosphere, not easy to get details like this in that kind of light.
I went to Google earth to see this bridge and it is unique. maybe in India it is not, but I have not seen such a traffic pattern here in the USA. I did look down river and your city does have a beautiful modern bridge. I like this bridge however because it reminds me when I was a draftsman
Richard - This type of bridge is common in Kolkata and eastern India. I will upload some more of different bridges of same kind...
