Description
I took the lower photo recently and was sure I had one taken some time ago.
After a little searching, I found it and discovered it was almost exactly ten years earlier.
It was amazing just how much deterioration had taken place in those years.
Oddly, about a week after I took the recent photo, this boat went up for sale and sold quite quickly.
The new owner has made a start on a restoration job and it is beginning to regain some of its looks.
I believe a mutual acquaintance of ours has given him a copy of this picture as he's never seen what it looked like before.
I hope it may help make this grand old lady a proud and graceful vessel once more.

Good memory. Interesting story and happy end. Well done
I bet a lot of fun has happened on that boat, she sure was a beauty...hopefully will be again.
I always find then and now pics fascinating. Well done on this.
Looks like ten years of neglect along with some vsandalism, and she's lower in the water so there is a lot of water inside which means high humidity mildew and so on. They added a mast, but other than that she looks to have received about the same maintenance as the building in the background.
Wow, they sure let it go, it was a very beautiful boat, hope the new owner gets her fixed up again, outstanding capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fascinating! What a good thing you took that earlier shot.
