Description
This unusual and distinctive tall house on a small island in the Thames next to Folly Bridge was, from 1911, the family home of Robert Theodore Gunther (1869 – 1940).
Gunther was a historian of science, zoologist, and founder of the Museum of the History of Science in the Old Ashmolean building, Oxford.
