Description
Needs to be seen full size for full effect.
Do you think stalkers and serial killers see the world the way the rest of us do? Or is their sense of reality literally blurred and fuzzy? Concepts of right and wrong, light and dark, so clear to most folks minds but not at all so in the mind of a psychopath. Do dark shadows and haze fill areas we see as light? Have you ever imagined what our place in their space might look like? What do you think they see as they move through our world?
Taken at dusk in east London, perhaps somewhere near where Jack roamed. Multiple HDR and other layers created in Perfect Effects 3 by onONe software.

Breathtaking work! Wonderful creativity.
Wonderful Work!!!
cool scene
A spectacular image, and a fascinating look into what possibly happens in the mind of a serial killer. I can almost visualize this image in the mind of the Ripper as he stalks the streets of London. Brilliant, Roxy!
This is a wonderfully creepy scene and most apropos to the man who haunted these streets. Some interesting and thought provoking questions, indeed. I think Seth may have hit on some part of it in his comment.
Wonderful work,
Awesome enviroment! Great job !
Stunning work my friend, great job!!!
A fantastic and creepy scene with great effects!
There was a documentary I watched on netflix about HH holmes AMerica's first serial killer. It was so bizzare how he manipulated and profited off his murders. Definitely I think there is a disconnect with morality and a complete absence of empathy in them. I love the atmosphere in this work, definitely capturing the feeling of delusion.
Splendid work!!!
beautiful, almost looks like artwork!
This makes me think of a grungy version of an Andrei Tarkovsky film. Tarkovsky is one of my favorite directors, partially because of his visual style. Stalker just happens to be the title of one of his films, though the subject matter is more spiritual than the title might suggest, and for some reason THIS image reminds me of that film. Funny how things interact in the brain. I think that the similarities come from your grunge textures and the intense colors; this has the visual feel of an old Slavonic icon, though there's little--if anything--in it to suggest a similarity, but I think the connection comes from the intense colors and the primal feelings this stirs up. All good Icons stir primordial feelings as they are steeped in mysticism and magic rather than more "cerebral" things. This image seems rooted in something emotional rather than rational, and so it shares something in common with Slavonic Icons, for me...that whole drive to touch the intangible. This is so moody and I love it for that! Excellently done! I love the fact that it's a photo and it looks more like something painted.
The location is particularly appropriate for this. My steps are faster. My heart races. The picture comes to life with this title. GREAT!!
