Description
Needs to be seen full size for full effect.
Do you think stalkers and serial killers see the world the way the rest of us do? Or is their sense of reality literally blurred and fuzzy? Concepts of right and wrong, light and dark, so clear to most folks minds but not at all so in the mind of a psychopath. Do dark shadows and haze fill areas we see as light? Have you ever imagined what our place in their space might look like? What do you think they see as they move through our world?
Taken at dusk in east London, perhaps somewhere near where Jack roamed. Multiple HDR and other layers created in Perfect Effects 3 by onONe software.

Wow, that's beautiful! Absolutely stunning!
Very cool and extremely creepy image! Most excellent work these questions are the type to keep a very lively discussion going for a while
Wonderful photo manipulations and very interesting thought provoking narrative!!
guess you would have to interview some of them to come to aconcept on that my friend. love the distorted and cloudy look, i would say you have a superb idea to it and perfectly captured it.
Looks like a real creepy place Viewed from the eyes of a distorted mind. (Not you of course LOL).Great effect with the HDR filtering!
A beautiful shot. But you are right, beauty to one set of eyes is darkness and despair to others. To victims of Jack this place would always be a place of fear and dread.
WOW! Incredible shot & postwork...very profound as well! :D
yep i would say jack rippenberg (lol)was roaming here.creepy athmo, could also be a charles dickens environment. the deepness of the street is well crafted.
Amazing post-work (reminds me of some of Dave McKeans pcs. He's one of my all time favorites so please accept that as high praise.) Fantastic photo!!
This is an amazing image Roxy, and what a wild idea to see the world through the eyes of a stalker
Fantastic postwotk. You made this place full of mystery. Excellent!
An interesting view (perhaps) into the mind of a predator. Well done!
excellent work

Very good postwork and coll picture.
First thing I thought of was Jack The Ripper. Excellant photo and postwork!
Thought provoking shot
I confess "Jack" was the first thing I thought of - even before reading your text. Creepy but fascinating!
Thsi is a real piec of art that I would like to hang on my wall! I love the lamps! Also: This is a perfect setting for a poser figure..
Interesting and insightful thoughts indeed. It would be perhaps "enlightening" on some level to know the answer to that... but then again, what is normal? What is blurred or fuzzy? And what are we comparing it to.... a relative situation, nonetheless. An awesome depiction, my Friend. Made me look over and over again at this... evoking a peculiar feeling, one that I wish I could become in touch with instantly.... well done!
TRIPPY FX
You've managed to create the sense of apprehension and almost dread in this image my friend. Totally cool... I think the stalker would feel an extreme sense of being alive when he is prowling.. hyper-awareness, like a jungle cat stalking its' prey.
WOW, incredible capture and postwork
Really excellent scene!!!!!!!
Très belle ambiance on dirait une peinture.
The effects you've done have really taken this into that dark realm. My first impression, knowing the title, was shades of Jack the Ripper. If we were to look through their eyes, the world may look like this to us. But even scarier, I think they see the world very clear, it's just not the same world we look at. Beautiful image an work.
Beautiful capture and an interesting commentary/thoughts ;O-)
Excellent in every way!!! The mysteries of the mind may always remain a mystery!
I love, love , love the colors and shadows in this--amazing shot and postwork Roxy!!!
