Description
This was done in posterize filter and with the name of the show "shadows", I liked how different shadows fell on the image.

Johnny Depp and Eva Green star in the motion picture DARK SHADOWS a story rewrite of a soap opera that played in the late 60s - which I was a big fan of.... the art was made for a contest which I did not place - 10 pictures of thousands were selected - TIM BURTON will judge those ten for first, second and third.

This is impressive Mike and slightly humorous (but in a nice way) for anyone with a slightly nervous disposition. I think this should have been a definite candidate for inclusion to be viewed by Tim Burton. But what the heck! Who am I? There again, who is Tim Burton? I bet he couldn't emulate your fantastic themed art! Steve ;)

I would of gone wild if one of my pieces would of been chosen for Tim Burton to look at... first place got $3,500 and their art made into a poster framed and one given to Tim Burton and one to the Artist... Imagine walking by a frame piece of work you did and you knew Tim Burton thought it was number one... who cares about the money - lol ... oh, Tim Burton is responsible for a lot of movies Johnny Depp has been in. he's that goofy look'n guy that looks like he needs to brush his hair - lol.... In a couple more uploads, I'll have a picture of him and then you'll know who I'm talking about - lol

Very cool version, Mike! Has an interesting art-poster look to it! My wife is a big fan of that show; I'm not sure she's impressed with the trailers for the movie, though... LOL!

Wow. Mike! Awesomeness! I can't believe you didn't get anything .. not even a "well done". the posterization filter is awesome for this .. it adds to the effect, and yeah, the shadows fall just perfect, kind fitting considering the title, ya know? I love it. It's a winner for sure, those judges just .. oh never mind. Just know you did some magnificent work.

It leaves me tongue tied! ;) I think this great and it shows what I would imagine to be the Depp/Burton side of Barnabas et al. Perhaps if Burton had filtered through the entries he might have chosen yours.
