Description
Or, as they say in France, a shum-pon-zee.
More stuff salvaged from my forgotten files.
This is the first of several very long distance ape fotos, captured 3/13/10, at the Los Angeles/Griffith Park Zoo in Los Angeles California.
Not a very sharp pic, but considering the chimp was on the move, not too bad for a hand held point and shoot Konica Minolta DiMage.
Adieu, thankx for hopping aboard, and for any and all favs and NONcritical comments

She has a purposeful stride!
I love these guys, you did well to get this shot.
He looks to have a purpose in mind in this excellent capture.
cool looking
Cool capture of this adorable little guy Harry
I think that it is a great shot Harry. They can really get going when they want to.
Looks like he/she has a lot of walking space. Nice shot. Aloha
cute capture :) like this animals !!
All I can think when I see this is how it would hurt me to try and walk with my fingers bent, assuming I could get them to bend like that! I'm guessing arthritis isn't something she has to live with. Nice capture of this locomoting lady, Harry.
This reminds me of some of the things you see on the news rioting, or drunk on a Saturday Night! Honestly it does.. sounds like it as well.. Great shot Harry.. Well done catching this.. Rob
Cute little guy!!
Personally, I think it's a great capture of a 'moving target' - one thing is for sure, walking on all fours, they will never suffer bad back-problems, like us humans ... BB (apologies for commenting a bit late, life has been a bit tumultuous as of late, energy-zapping!)
Heck, that could be any one of us taking our early morning walk. Is he'she carrying a camera? ;-)
