Detail of the roofline at Saint Edwards in Kenmore, Washington.
Very fancy!
Two string courses, a bit of freize, gothic arches with quatrefoils (well, half quatrefoils), all resting on what I believe to be acanthus leaf corbels. (I mean ... I know they're corbels ... I'm not sure they're meant to be acanthus leaves.)
Let me know if I've messed any of that up.
This is all in aid of holding up the gutters. :)

Nice POV and patterns
Fine composition. I enjoy your description of what we see in this sharp image. This building when seen in its entirety first struck me as austere...it takes time to actually study the artistic details...and once that is helped along by photos like this...the field of architecture continues to open wider. Well done:)
