Description
Along with the koi, we had this.
Captured 12/11/11, at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden, on the beautiful campus of California State University Long Beach, in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Very cool via ZOOM, with lots of greenery.
Even though it was held in a garden, this was apparently not your typical garden variety snapshot venture. Top shot shows the photographer, possibly a pro, giving preliminary instructions to the couple. Weddings are often conducted at the site, so since a reflector was used, this may have been a prenuptial exercise. I can only surmise.
Actually, when I first saw this group I thought they had just finished off a big pizza lunch.
Arrivederci, thanks for the visit, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

nce moment shot ! like the garden around this scene too ! :)
Most interesting!
LOL a pizza tray might just make a good reflector. Great shots Harry!
Great candid shots of this group! I see this kind of shoot all the time at the arboretum and at the botanical garden, engagement photos, family photos, wedding photos--all usually right where I want to shoot, which can be a bit annoying sometimes. The gardens look green and vibrant!
I like the pizza idea if they were in a sharing mood. Nice ninja photos - of the photo shoot.
Nice job on capturing them here Harry
First time I've seen a Wedding Photographer use a sun deflector! lol But then, we more often get rain here lol Nice informal candids Harry, well caught.. Good timing and captures.. Note on the Westland Scout for you.. Yes! It did indeed fly with the engine uncovered like that! lol The joys of early Choppers (1960's!) Rob
