Along with the koi, there is this, an Elysium of sorts.
Captured 12/11/11, at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden, on the beautiful campus of California State University Long Beach, in beautiful Long Beach, California.
A ZOOM is highly recommended.
What seem like water aeration or filtration devices around the pond create serene concentric circle rippling effects, as depicted at the bottom of the photo.
