Description
Captured 8/3/11, at the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Stunningly ZOOM worthy.
The yellow fish are Yellow Tangs; the one at the upper left I'm very sure is a Bluebanded Surgeonfish.
I took many shots of the Hawaiian reefs, which by themselves came out nice and sharp, but the fish in most of the pics were blurry and out of focus. Hence, this is one of the better images. Now if the fish would only be still and stop moving and darting about! Aquarium photography can be most challenging, much more than any other genre I've covered.
Cheerybye, thankx for the look-see, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Oh, to be a fish swimming around in Hawaii or the aquarium for that matter...that is until a larger, hungry guy comes along:) Yes, I like this at the zoom and fully understand about the slight blurriness of the fish...low light and in ordeer to see anything your shutter speed has to slow down. Tough conditions but excellent results.
real good shot

gluck gluck :) wonderful underwater world and great captured too!!
You have caught them in an excellent compo, Harry!
I think you did a great job capturing these moving fish behind glass. Love those yellow ones.
Really excellent clarity under the circumstances, Harry; the fish look great! I love that surgeonfish, he's a real beauty. Well done!
A super shot Harry - not easy as they race around the tank!
beautiful underwater scene
I thought it was the blue-line snapper but after carefully looking, you're right....its the blue branded surgeon fish. Aloha
