Description
Captured 6/29/11, at the beautiful Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in semi beautiful San Pedro, California. By semi beautiful, I mean attractive beach and beachfront property, but a second world downtown area at best.
Definitely ZOOM worthy.
This guy is so handsome I was undecided on which picture to post, so I'm displaying both shots, taken at different POVs. And, the eel was cooperative and gracious enough not to move when it saw me trying to focus and compose it, unlike many of the other creatures at the aquarium.
Toodles, thankx for tuning in, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

One of the most interesting undersea creatures, caught well by you.
Like the way the second photo shows us some more of him back between the rocks. I haven't tried any through the glass aquarium shots yet...you did very well Harry!
Excellent work, Harry; nice you found a cooperative subject! I haven't been so lucky in my attempts at aquarium captures.

Superb. I thank you for this one. 5+! It says a lot about you.
These are great Harry. I have never seen a Moray eel outside of the holes that they hide in. Thanks!
I can remember being in Hawaii snorkeling and an eel came at me and scared me, I got out of there quick and laid in the sand for awhile, but I went back in later, he wasn't going scare me away from the beauty there.
