Description
Captured 6/12/10, at the Centennial Aviation Day celebration held on the grounds of the beautiful Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum in Carson, California.
Stunningly ZOOM worthy.
Another gem I pulled out of my forgotten files. I've got several pics of this model copter, but these particular shots are significant in the fact that it shows one having landed on grass - noticeably bleached out from the mid year sun - but still soft grass, as opposed to the hard concrete and helipads they usually takeoff from and land on.
And, I captured it just after it landed, with the rotor blades still spinning, leaving a blur effect in the top three pics. The bottom shot shows the blades at a virtual stop. Rob should appreciate this.
I think it looks cool amongst all that greenery.

Awesome. I love helicopters.
What a very modern looking chopper! It reminds me a little of a hair dryer with a tail, in a good way--it's less threatening to my peace of mind that way. Wonderful shots, the red colour really pops against the green, and kudos on the prop blur, Harry!
A very impressive helicopter Harry. I haven't heard of it before but have just discovered it is the largest manufacturer of civil helicopters in North America. And the company is down your way:) Four fine photos in one of your trademark collages. Niceeee.

I have heard of 'Robinson' before.. I don't know of any particular makes so this great Harry! Thanks.. Love the colour.. lol I can normally get 'Blur' with choppers, something about the blades.. But at airshows, the number of aircraft flying does not normally allow me to change setting much, so, I have to set 'Auto' and Go! lol I go for volume rather than 10 good ones.. When there are up to 60 planes flying I can't choose! BUT, you have shot well thanks.. More like this Others maybe? Rob
