Description
Taking an overdue hiatus from my series of flower fotos to display some really awesome stuff.
Captured 10/24/10, at the 9th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
ZOOM a must.
Five out of a total of 22 pics I took of this beautiful venerable beast at the show. A real crowd magnet, especially among the guys and photographers. More of these to come.
Actually, it was never around back in 1936, having been recently built based on the design of the Indy racers back then, using modern equipment.

Adjo, thankx for driving by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Very interesting wheeled beast ;) nice collage Harry.
That is one super cool d racer Harry
Mike and PeeWee did a great job on this 1937 hottie:) Your photos do it proud! Thanks for the look at this truly novel machine Harry.
Built for speed, apparently; I know guys love these things, but they don't do much for me :{ Still, your shots are excellent, showing all its multitude of pieces and parts, and all those racing decals!
So, it has a history without a past. Interesting vehicle!
did a good job on the photos
