Clever bits of kit.
I remember seeing something like this on the tv years ago. Apparently learning to fly in this was more important than actually having to fly a real aeroplane as this is what you passed your exams on.

How VERY cool! This is some incredible museum mate! I once had the privilege to shown the very first Harrier Simulator at RAF Wittering.. I was ages 12!!!! Forever etched...... Rob
I'll bet things look pretty modern inside...but the simulations must have been very spartan by comparison to what is available today. Let's see the DC-9 was first built in 1965 and went out of production in 1982...according to the wiki.
I somehow think the sign might be something from the more recent times... Clive
