Description
I posted a shot from the George Street Bridge of the River Usk in Newport yesterday, so here is another, this time looking down at the muddy bank.
There no smell but there was a lot of debris...
Yech!

Stunning capture Clive. God Bless.
almost a piece of modern art
What an indictement of our culture! But the image is better than many pieces of contemporary ART!
It's a real transportation graveyard!
The dump it anywhere culture, its a real shame,
Fantastic capture!
Stunning photograph!
Nice! A side effect of of the human race, the total lack of any effort to walk 400 yards to the recycling centre to put the rubbish.. Scum! Has a weird oozy looking beauty in it though lol Rob
Sorry state of affairs when a person, instead of donating the item to charity, or at least setting it to the curb, will just throw it away without regard to the damage it may do Wonderful shot
The bicycle still looks in good shape! You do know that if it was one of our rivers, quite a few plastic bags (national flower) would have been stuck everywhere!
looks like art but not really good for the nature hmm
Excellent. Think of the archeological finds that must lie in the layers below...old chariot wheels, rusty short swords, discarded Roman sandals and the like:)
At first I thought it was a closeup of some pebbles, and the bicycle put my brain in a twist! What a fascinating image. I blew it up big to get a closer look at the contents. It's a good thing I'm not in a hurry this afternoon! :)
Yep You titled it right Debris indeed Great capture Hugs Susan~
thought-provoking indeed! the more we consume. the much more we waste... thanks for sharing, Clive!
I love the way the blue of the bike stands out against everything else hidden in this dark mud, great shot and cool straight on perspective, at first glance everything looks miniature. Great shot- thanks for sharing! :)

Cool - the blue bike looks great in all the brown. Very artistic shot and a great find.
