Now please note this is probably the first and last time ya'll will see me in a birthday hat..LOL! Seriously though I am not a big celebrator of events as the hubby will tell you. Now, if the event is important to a family member or friend I am all about it, but in general I am not the kind of person who recognizes dates on calenders. Take for instance Valentine's Day. On occasions we will celebrate but I feel everyday should be valentines day in regards to the love we give and receive.
...As for the Bday--well, personally, I have begin to see it as one more year closer to the grave--LOL!!!!
But today the kids and hubby brought a smile to my cynical, non sentimental face.
I was working away when the hubby and kiddos came in with a cup cake bearing ONE candle (thankfully--LOL) and party hats.
I think my Grinch heart grew seven sizes bigger!
And then all my social networkin' friends wishing me well--I am humbled folks--thanks so much--love you guys!
Now, on with the shoe....:-)
