Description
This is part of the Grand Coulee in Washington State. I took this on the first day of our trip, and have been saving it for a special occasion. It doesn't get much more special than the birthday of a dear friend!

This is some pretty amazing landscape! I mean...seriously...WOW! I have yet to see something like this and I have to say that it's something I'm quite anxious to see with my own eyes. The sense of scale must be amazing as well as all of the visual interest and that amazing geology. This rocks! It's a perfect birthday dedication too!
