Flight of Fancy is the second book in my series of stories surrounding 6 fancies - sisters, and daughters to the Native Indian woman MiaKoda who was paired up with an Ethiopian male slave - the daughter's that came from them were considered Fancy stock.
The series is called, The Clover Leaf Fancies - which tells the story of what happened to each of them, where they ended up and how their lives turned out. 6 black slave women who were bred especially for the bed of any man who could afford to pay the price.
Flight of Fancy is Asiza's story - who refused to be any man's fancy. So opposed to it that she kills her new master and his two friends he invited in on the fun - only to meet a grisly death at her hands. Asiza runs for her life, a hunting party goes out after her with their dogs, she ends up killing their dogs and two of those from the party - because the forest, the woods - is Asiza's home, the meaning of her name, (forest spirit) - no one dare come in the forest after her.
Believing that she is a wicked witch, a demon, they send in a Bounty hunter, Broc Wolf to capture her, for Asiza to end up capturing his heart. Together - they fight their way north so that she can be free - and where they can live together as they were meant to be - as husband and wife. While this is indeed a historical romance, it is very violent and I've rated it R because of the violence.

What a fabulous idea for a story, and knowing you it will be brought to life in an exciting manner with characters that will come alive as you read.
