Description
Never a big fan of the StarGate franchise, I found myself irresistibly drawn to StarGate Universe one evening while channel surfing. Aside from a compelling story line, the ship, conceived and constructed by the Ancients, known as Destiny, looked too cool to pass up. Modeling one was, of course, the next step.
Two pics are presented here as I wanted to show both the detail of the vessel and the faster-than-light (FTL) effect. Sadly, the FTL work didn’t really come out to my expectations. Oh well.
This is an original model created in Wings3d and assembled and textured in Bryce5. Post work using PSP8 and Universe Image Creator for the starfield background. Please view at full size and thanks for lookin’!

Sorry for the late response (boy, is THAT an understatement!), but it took many weeks to model and texture. And I was working at the time as well!!!
