Description

This pic would probably benefit from more work, but it’s been sitting on my desktop as wallpaper (as do all the images that I am in the process of working on) for the longest time now, and I’m kinda sick of looking at it. So, my apologies for it being rough around the edges (literally!). As usual, all models are mine, created in Bryce5 or Wings3d. Post work with PSP8. Thanks for taking the time to look!

Superb light. Unfortunately the "full size" picture is a too small.

Excellent POV. A futuristic city in the throes of growth and development as the energy of the Sun beckons on.

When learning light tutorials I enjoy it when they do to my scene what my imagination see's..Looking at this...I like it a lot that there is stark contrast between the edge of light and the balcony/stairs....Very Cool!..

Looks like the perfect smoggy industrial/urban sunset for sure...cough, cough ! LOL I just wonder, the floor in the foreground seems very reflective, like a pool, maybe the addition of a swimmer would have completed this one ? just a suggestion and still a bloody fine result ! ~Cheers~

Excellent composition. Love the harbor in the bg with misty sunlight. LOVE the staircase with the circular steps and the way you've used them for flow in this piece. Well done. I agree with another commenter, the foreground floor is super reflective, like still waters. If it's supposed to be a liquid, I think it conflicts with the background body of water, and if it's supposed to be a hard surface, reducing its reflectivity may convey that better.
