Description
Hi Friends,
I just returned from "my place", where I often go out for a walk.
Yesterday I saw there this butterfly, but it was blowing too hard, so no good results.
Today I went back to look. And 'Yes', rediscovered, men was I glad, and enthusiastic :D.
Again it was difficult because of the wind, to take pictures.
But I had a lot of those, who were okay.
If it works I will for tomorrow make a collage.
I didn't have enough time to take a look at your gallery, but I'm on my way.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments on my earlier upload, it's very much appreciated :)
See you, my friends!
Dutch: St Jansvlinder

She looks as though she is closed right up because of the wind. How lovely to see the spots like this in this excellent capture.
This is a beautiful example of a Six spot Burnet moth. Excellent macro. Dana

very very happy feeling!!!
Fine photo Mies...love the detail. Barely a light breath of wind here...the trees are still...
Fantastic macro shot Mies. The butterfly is gorgeous. Outstanding details caught in this photo.
wonderful macro
This is a photographic masterpiece, Mies. The intricacy of detail is fantastic! This is a beautiful creature and the harmonizing balance between the insect and the flower, along with the depth-of-field green color blurring is perfect. My favorite part is the insect eyes. Also, I greatly appreciate the way you always take the time to identify all of the interesting species you find. Most impressive!
beautiful moth and macro
Another great capture I need to go on a nature walk with you too LOL Love the image.....and the colors just fit right in Another fav Susan~
