Description
This was the 40th year for the Airshow so the special flight of the Supermarine Spitfire LFIX together with the North American P-51D Mustang was once again a great reminder of a shared comradeship for even longer!
Also I chose this image to celebrate my 9th year I have been posting on Renderosity on the 8th of August in case I am unable to post another as I will be away in Ireland.. Hope to be able to start a landscape series if I can find an internet connection on my travels..

Great shot of these two planes Danny well done!
An outstanding and gorgeous tribute to the world of aviation and to these nine years of magnificent professional photography. Way to go, Danny!

Very cool capture, Dan Congratulations !!!
Amazing piece. Trying to figure out how you get such amazing captures. This is like you were up there with them. I look forward to your ireland landscapes.
Beautiful shot and airplane, cool presentation!
Close looking formation!
Awesome capture.
Fabulous shot...they seem to fly so close to each other, I'd be scared if I was on one of these aircrafts ! Congratulations on your 9th year.
Splendid Daniel....!!!
Congratulations my friend. Stunning capture. God Bless.
Very interesting shot ! Wonderful capture !
Superb image.
Lovely shot with great detail. R-R are currently renovating their traditional Spitfire after the previous one didn't... land properly... Shame only 22 full-size views, (OK 23 now!). It's transformed on zoom. Shutter priority (F25)? What a retrograde step the new smaller default view is. Am sure there are good reasons for it but I'll be damned if I can think of any.
Nice capture! You got a good one here!
An excellent capture of this fast moving plane and a great way to celebrate your time here. I hope you enjoy your break in Ireland.
Brothers in Arms... Dire Straits.. Have a good trip to Ireland and see you soon here on RR. The planes make me remember my childhood when I collected airfix models of planes.. the Spitfire included.
Great capture!!
Great capture Danny. They had a Supermarine Spitfire and of course several Mustangs at the Mid- Atlantic WWII re-enactment show this year in June at Reading, PA. The Supermarine was hauling a.s! Have a nice vacation and take many pictures. I was only once in Ireland (May 1998) and the weather changed constantly. One moment it looked like the end of the world, an hour later the sun was shining! Congrats on your 9th year!!!
Excellent shot, fantastic details. If I remember correctly I've had this propeller plane as a model when I was a child.
Oh, man Danny...this is cool. At the zoom, you have almost crawled into the cockpit...look at the face of the pilot of the P-51. Congrats your 9th RR anniversary...my 3rd is on August 11th. Where has the time gone? Enjoy Ireland!
wonderful work
