If you zoom and look closely, you'll see how everyone is following the ball. Kansas City got a base hit, and scored at the same time. That's how it's supposed to work. Still, the Angels won, 4-3....yay for my team!!

Outstanding action shot. I especially like the body language of the pitcher. He's probably thinking, "Well, there goes my pay raise." The Angels won so maybe he was ok after all.
Wonderful shot Marilyn!!
Oh OK so your team won? Well good for them!
Heh, heh, heh @ blinkings. But boo...my team lost, sniff. Cool shot nonetheless:)
Wonderful shot, Marilyn
Just like everyone in the stands the pitcher is watching and probably saying to himself "Oh crap" Nice shot.
Take me out to the ballgame...please! I do love baseball!
not a game thats played much here
cool shot and happy your team won
Oh dear ... I live in a Kansas City Royals household now, so I can only smile slightly at this. :P
I zoomed and nobody is watching the runners. Even all the fans are watching the ball. Super shot Marilyn. Dana
I zoomed and although this is not my favorite game( sport in general) so far today it's my favorite photo shot wow :
What a shot! I love the synchronized stare and I can just about hear the crowd. I'm not big on sports, but it's a heck of a lot of fun to actually watch the fans, listen in on their conversations, and if you're at Wrigley Field during a late season game, it's really an experience to eat a hot dog that's probably been sitting in hot water since the season's open. Well, maybe not...but still, Wrigley Field hotdogs are an experience in and of themselves. And I suspect that this comment only has a tiny bit to do with this photo, but then that's how my mind works. I really love the intense reds and the cool blues (in shorter supply it would seem.) I'll bet you had fun; it shows and so this is a fun shot to look at. The pitcher looks like he's just saying: "Oh, frak!"
