Description
Alex, Master of Sorrows, is the 19th of his lineage...and that stretches back around 4000 years or more. I believe (and the figments do whisper this) that one of his ancestors was taken by an enterprising lot of Romans who thought having a foreign god as a captive would be amusing.
I don't know which of the Masters of Sorrows it was--but not one that could fold space. He was pretty much stuck, and then decided it would be amusing to play along for a little while. This is not fighting fair at all, of course. And after a spectacularly bloody debut in the ring, he called upon Lady of Sorrows--Dolores--and she showed up, mighty pissed off at the Romans putting on the show. And the earth opened up and the walls came tumbling down.
It was a mess. And the Romans, like the Catholic Church later on, learned that the Gotth make good allies but absolutely implacable enemies.
So endeth the lesson.
Production notes: Alex, my M4 dial-spun character wearing Jepe's new Clive/Dax skin (we like it lots); Ad Gladio clothing and Arien's textures for it; shiny new DM Del Sol set; smoke, fire, hair, and whatnot painted in post.
