How very lovely cactus flowers indeed. Deep in colors and so delightful.
This must be a sight to behold, a flowering desert! Bees have to watch their step here... Clive

All the years I lived in Phoenix, I never once saw the desert in bloom! Course I was a kid and other things seemed SO much more important!! Beautiful foto!!
glorious color
My prickly pear has 31 blossoms on it and it looks like they are going to start opening today. I hope they look this good. Anyone have a good recipe for prickly pears? :-) Outstanding shot. Spring in the desert is as breathtaking as summer in the desert is miserably hot.
splendid
Roses of the desert.... Beautiful capture, Bill! Great detail, and of course the color is just wonderful! Superb!
Outstanding clarity, colors and textures in this pic, Bill. Sometimes hard to believe that the humble and thorny cactus could produce such a lovely bloom.
A fabulous capture of this wonderful cactus and how lovely that you got to see all the flowers in the desert. This is such a beautiful colour.
Beautiful capture, color and details Bill. Also nice contrast. Dana
I love the deep reds in this and the complex and numerous inner bits! The light is superb and it picks out the fantastic details. I really like the colors in this, and the overall composition is super. I rarely get to see cactus flowers and so this is a treat!
