Description
...We are travelling north up the coast of Oregon to visit the lighthouses here...but the bridges that span many of the rivers and bays along Highway 101 make quite a photographic subject all by themselves.
...this is the Yaquina Bay Bridge opened in September 1936. It is a beautiful example of Highway 101 bridges designed by Conde McCullough.
...location: Newport, Oregon.

Very nice capture.
What a fantastic shot of the bridge! I love the softness you got here. (Even when you discover later your settings were off, you still produce gorgeous photography!) Now I'll have to find another angle on this bridge ... you've said everything with this one ... it's outstanding!
Great view of this bridge.
A beautiful capture Bill!!
Very nice angle showing the entire span of arch - suspension cantilever construction. Is the low one in the background a railroad bridge? Great job.
Great image Hugs Susan~
Definitely not the Bridge on the River Kwai. I like the moody mood, clarity, detail, and quasi silhouetting in this splendid panorama, Bill.
Wow! I've never seen this bridge, and I can't imagine a more beautiful capture of it!
