This again is the striking Gwyneth from Trish (seven12342); what a lovely gift she has given me! And now I give something from me.
This image I would like to dedicate to two special friends: firstly Lori Kemper (scifibabe). I love Lori's bright works, no one gets more color into a composition than Lori and her dragons always really rock. Her works always lift your spirit. Anyway's Lori asked for "more please" of the slightly gritty style of my last image. So here is another one, again inspired by one of my favorite recording artists, this time Tom Petty.
The second one is for Dave (Magnus073) and I am not going to say why, but I made this image with something that he told me working in the back of my mind. Dave will know and that is all that I need to say, because as I said, he will know.
"Don't come around here no more" came out very much as I had originally envisioned it, with no small help from snagging a few packages from the latest DM sale! This image took something like eight renders to get the lighting even close and it is a composite of a few of them. And then an awful lot of post work fussing to get the lighting color to where I really wanted it to be and some shadows and fog painted in. Hope you like it.
Hey don't come around here no more
I've given up - stop
On waiting any longer
I've given up on
This love getting stronger
Don't come around here no more
I don't feel you anymore
You darken my door
Whatever you're lookin for
Hey don't come around here no more
Don't come around here no more
Stop walking down my street
Don't come around here no more
Who do you expect to meet?
Don't come around here no more
And whatever you're lookin for
Hey don't come around here no more, hey.
Tom Petty (1985)

Wonderful artwork, Roxy! You have such a gifted touch in you images! :o)
Wow! If anguish had a face, this would be it. A very difficult scene to portray, and you nailed it. Absolutely superb!
Beautiful image!
So wonderful dedi!
Stunning work and words!!!
superbly done
Wow, Roxy.. this image is so deep and the pain for both of them so real. I love how you capture emotion in your work - Something to inspire me to strive for. :) The light is perfect, dark, yet distinct. I love your style so much!
Beautiful work!
Amazing work yet again--and you as well as Callad, my two personal faves--always know how to put the heart and soul into your characters. This truly tugs at you--and the imagery is breath taking. Love as always the lightign and textures! This is fantastic!
Very nice image, nicely composed, I like the mood, the POV and the effects
Excellent work!
A wonderful dedication to Dave, it shows a lot of emotion and you have captured the scene so well. I also like the nice, dreamy touch and the way her skirt was posed. Fantastic work, Roxy!
Excellent
Love the mood! I like it more than the imagery that was in the original video, for Tom's tune. Just somethin about that Alice cake. (shivers)
Brilliant artistic image, in particular - impressive dress color and the image cropping!
Gorgeous and a outstanding scene dear Roxy, wonderful dedi and work love it.
Fantastic work !
Excellent work. and a nice dedication for your friends.
Powerful and so full of emotion.. very nice.
You know, I'm glad I'm back, just so I can see all the great work you are doing and how much you have progressed as an artist. The first thing that caught my attention in this image is the contrast between the contemplative, almost sad mood of the woman in the back, and the violence of the man at the forefront. Great composition for an image that doesn't really words to convey its message. Well done!
This is a really fantastic picture. You've managed to do something here that I've considered from time to time, but it doesn't ever quite work like I had in mind. You aced it here with the two images of her. Excellent and thanks for your comment!
Superb art! An excellent and moving image!
Powerful scene with lots of emotions... Stunning work on the poses and expressions, Roxy! Vashek
